Pro and Researcher
Both plans bring you your daily digest with audio, each paper broken down for your role, your library and every AI tool. Researcher adds unlimited topics and RS Universe maps, filtering by technique, following other fields, exports and early access. Every account starts with 30 days of Researcher.
RS Universe is a 3D map of 31 million papers that shows how your papers connect across fields.
- Charged on day 30Not before, and not at all if you cancel before then. Settings › Plan always shows the date.
- Cancel any timeIn Settings › Plan. You keep your plan until the end of the time you’ve paid for.
- Your data is keptIf your plan ends, your library, projects and settings stay. Subscribe again and it’s all there.
- Your card stays with StripeReadSearch never sees your card number. Prices are in US dollars; taxes may apply. Refunds are in the Terms of use.

Daily limits reset at midnight UTC. They are there to keep ReadSearch fast for everyone; most readers never reach them.
Good to know
- Is there a free plan?
- No. Every account starts with 30 days of Researcher, the full plan. You choose Pro or Researcher, monthly or yearly, when you start, and add a card. Nothing is charged during the 30 days.
- What happens on day 30?
- Your card is charged for the plan and billing you chose, and it then renews automatically until you cancel. The date and the amount are written under the button before you start, and in Settings › Plan.
- What if I cancel?
- Cancel any time in Settings › Plan. During the trial you aren’t charged, and you keep everything until day 30. After that, you keep your plan until the end of the time you’ve paid for. Then your account is locked until you choose a plan again.
- Is my data kept?
- Yes. A locked account keeps your library, projects, groups, notes and settings. Subscribe again and everything is there as you left it. You can also download a copy of your data, or delete your account, at any time.
- Can I switch between Pro and Researcher?
- Yes, in Settings › Plan › Manage subscription, along with monthly or yearly billing. Stripe shows you the difference before you confirm.
- Is there a discount for my university or company?
- If your university or company is a ReadSearch partner and you sign up with your work email, a 30% discount applies automatically. You see it on the plan choice before you pay. There is no separate student discount.
- How do I pay?
- By card, on Stripe’s secure payment page. ReadSearch never sees or keeps your card number. Prices are in US dollars.
- Can I get a refund?
- We don’t refund part of a month or a year. If two subscriptions are paid at the same time, we cancel the extra one and refund it automatically. If you ask within 14 days of your first charge after the trial, or of your first yearly payment, we refund it, and the subscription ends. You may also have a legal right to a refund where you live. The Terms of use explain each case.
- What if a payment doesn’t go through?
- Your plan stays on for a short grace period while you update your card. If the payment still fails, your account is locked. Nothing in it is deleted.
- What about taxes?
- Any taxes required by law may apply.
