Abstract
A detector inside a static spherical shell samples globally matched field modes even though its local geometry is flat. We construct the response of a compactly switched Unruh-DeWitt detector on a quantum-controlled pair of transparent spherical-shell spacetimes with common Arnowitt-Deser-Misner mass. A stipulated common-incoming scattering identification places the branch excitations in one Hilbert space. Their positive Gram matrix determines joint, conditional, and dephased detector responses at a finite common readout, retaining the physical detector-clock phase in the uncompensated protocol. An additional coherent phase-gate protocol compensates free detector-clock propagation while preserving the shell interaction response. For concentric shells the centered response is exactly $s$ wave. A common incoming direction basis extends the construction to a lab-fixed detector and displaced shell centers, preserving common-translation covariance. The equal-radius benchmark exhibits conditional changes of order $25\%$ without dark-port amplification. Combining radius and position produces an assignment-odd response that reverses under reflection and vanishes at the relational midpoint. The relative normalized-state contrast reaches $34.15\%$ among the computed samples; the relative clock-resolved probe-influence contrast reaches $8.09\%$ for the declared readout, while larger values belong to its separate shared-phase envelope. These effects already occur in the dominant-energy-condition-compatible core. They are relational, model-dependent detector responses, not a background-independent witness of quantum geometry. First-order coefficients have finite pointlike limits; finite-coupling statements are made only at a fixed shared regulator.
